Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar are returning after the
gap of 10 long years. The duo, who will next be seen in Karan Johar’s Good
Newwz, recently appeared on Hindustan Times Leadership Summit 2019 in New
Delhi. Before Good Newwz, Bebo and Akshay have been audience favourite as they
charmed their fans with their chemistry in films like Aitraaz (2004), Ajnabee
(2001), Bewafaa (2005) among many others. But looks like the duo forgot the
last film they did together.
During the Leadership Summit Programme, Bebo and Khiladi Kumar were asked about their 10-year-long gap before reviving their chemistry in Good Newwz. Both agreed upon Tashan being their last outing together conveniently forgetting their other two films after Tashan. Well, let us refresh your memory. Before Good Newwz, Veere Di Wedding actress and Akki were seen in Sajid Nadiadwala's Kambakkht Ishq which released in 2009 and then in Bhansali Productions' Gabbar is Back, which came in 2015. Yesterday, talking about their chemistry with each other, Kareena had told the host working with Akshay is like coming home. The actress even revealed actually being behind the camera when Akshay Kumar gave the first-ever movie shot of his career. She further mentioned being honoured that after so many years she is sharing screen space with Akki himself. To which Akki replied how he used to play around with Bebo while he filmed for movies with her elder sister Karisma Kapoor.
Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan made a big revelation about
the film projects she had turned down. Yesterday, we told you Kareena admitted
rejecting Vikas Bahl’s Queen as the lead actor. The film later went on to
Kangana Ranaut, who won National Award for her performance in Queen.
